Bollywood baadshah Shah Rukh Khan will be seen sharing screen space with Anushka Sharma in Imtiaz Ali's next. This will be their third film as on-screen pair after "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" (2008) and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" (2012).
Imtiaz's film is set to go on floors in June, according to SpotboyE. The report suggests that SRK will start shooting for the film before director Aanand L Rai's next, in which the superstar will reportedly play a dwarf's character.
Earlier, it had been reported that Anushka was interested in the Imtiaz directorial. After completing her on-going projects, "Sultan" and "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," the actress could join the SRK-starrer for shooting.
Imtiaz's untitled film is said to be a comedy, in which SRK will be seen as a turbaned Sikh tourist in the UK. "SRK will be seen as a turbaned tourist in the UK. His innocent interactions with the Britishers and his adventurous return to India form the premise of the film," Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying.
Although the director or the actors have not confirmed the reports, fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of the flick. If all goes well, this will be Shah Rukh and Anushka's first film with Imtiaz.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh has garnered appreciation from all quarters for his brilliant performance in "Fan." Released on April 15, the film shows the superstar in a double role — one as obsessed fan Gaurav and the other as actor Aryan Khanna. The Maneesh Sharma directorial revolves around the obsession of a fan for his superstar.
SRK is also working in Gauri Shinde's film alongside Alia Bhatt and he will reportedly play the role of a psychiatrist. Also, the "Dilwale" actor is set to appear as bootlegger in Rahul Dholakia's "Raees."
