Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly met up with acclaimed director Anurag Kashyap leading to speculations of a possible team up.
Anushka Sharma, who worked with Khan in "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" and "Jab Tak Hain Jaan" and recently with Kashyap in the upcoming film "Bombay Velvet," reportedly arranged a meeting between the two celebs some time ago, reported Mid Day.
The bubbly actress is said to have taken the initiative after she came across Kashyap's new script and found Khan to be the perfect choice for the male lead in the project.
And now reports have hinted that the superstar has agreed to be a part of the director's project. Earlier reports claimed that the project in question was the long-shelved thriller titled "Alvin Kalicharan" but as per the sources, Khan has given his nod to a new script written by the "Dev D" filmmaker.
Previously, Anil Kapoor was roped in to star as the corrupt cop in "Alvin Kalicharan" but the film had to be abandoned, after the actor opted out at the last moment.
"SRK and Anurag will soon work together on a film, but it is definitely not the "Alvin Kalicharan" project. It's a fresh script altogether that Anurag has written," a source informed the tabloid.
And since Khan is presently occupied with his upcoming film "Happy New Year," the director is said to be furnishing the script further.
Khan and Kashyap's association is not yet tried but given his recent foray into mainstream films with "Bombay Velvet", the director appears to be gung ho about many more mainstream collaborations in the days to come.
Meanwhile, Khan is all over the news for his upcoming film "Fan" where he will don a new look altogether. Oscar winning make-up artist Greg Cannom has been assigned to present the 48-year-old in a new avatar for the Maneesh Sharma film, which will start rolling from July this year.
