The two superstars of Bollywood - Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan, might work together after five years in R Balki's next film.
Since 2008, the two actors have not worked together, and if at all they shot for the same film then it might have been just for a special appearance.
But if rumours are to be true, then fans might get a chance to see them share the same frame on the silver screen.
According to The Times of India, "Paa" director R Balki is scripting his next film and he is keen to cast Amitabh and Shah Rukh alongside each other.
The scripts of his next film demands two big star cast and Balki is planning to sign none other than Big B and King Khan, TOI reported.
"The filmmaker is extremely secretive about his projects. So there are hushed whispers that the writer-director has already spoken to Big B about the project," sources close to the filmmaker said.
The script of the film is not ready yet, but there are reports suggesting that Amitabh has already given his nod for the film.
Balki has worked with Big B in films like "Paa" and "Cheeni Kum", and with SRK he has teamed up for a short film that was released in March.
It has been five years since Amitabh and SRK have not worked together. The two have given hit films like "Mohabbatein" and "Kabhi Khushi and Kabhie Gham". But unfortunately they never shared the screen after that.
In 2008, both actors were featured in "Bhootnath" but were hardly seen together.
