Gauri Shinde's next film, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt, will go on floors in January 2016.
It was earlier reported that the film had been shelved due to some creative differences between Gauri and Karan Johar, who is the producer of the film. The film is jointly produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Dharma Productions and Hope Productions.
However, reports now suggest that the film will go on floors in the beginning of next year.
"@gauris film with @iamsrk and @aliaa08 commences principal photography middle of jan!! Pre production is on full steam now! Exciting!!!!" Karan tweeted.
It was said that SRK and Alia would be romancing each other in this flick, but subsequent reports said that the "Dilwale" actor would put in a special appearance, and not be in a lead role.

"Will no longer have any problem with my English Vinglish.. can't wait to be directed by Gauri Shinde with the man himself Shahrukh Khan!!! (sic)" Alia tweeted.
Meanwhile, the "Shaandaar" actress will be next seen in Dharma Productions' "Kapoor and Sons" alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan and also, in KJo's "Shuddhi". She is also working in "Udta Punjab" opposite Shahid Kapoor. The film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan.
