Shah Rukh Khan's film with Aanand L Rai, in which he plays a "little person," has got everyone talking. But here's another aspect that may add to the excitement. Katrina Kaif has apparently been confirmed as one of the two actresses in the project.
A DNA report claims that the "Jagga Jasoos" star has given her nod for the film. However, it's not only her who will share screen space with Khan. An insider told the daily it's a two-heroine project. "Both the heroines will have almost equal roles. It isn't a film where one actress will have a bigger role and the other won't. That's why Aanand wants two established actors opposite Shah Rukh," the source added.
The daily has listed out possible names of female stars, who could join Katrina:
Sonam Kapoor, who has earlier worked with the director in "Raanjhanaa," isn't a surprising choice. The actor-director's relationship is smooth, plus the "Neerja" actress shares a rapport with Katrina. They have worked together in beauty commercials.
Anushka Sharma and Katrina have worked in "Jab Tak Hai Jaan," which is why bringing them together for a project isn't a tough task. But, if the "Sultan" star signs on the dotted line it would mean she'll be seen in two back-to-back projects with SRK. Rumour has it that Imtiaz Ali's next may feature the "Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi" pair.
According to the daily, what makes Parineeti Chopra one of the frontrunners for the roles is her partially empty date diary and the fact that she is looking at working with talented filmmakers.
