Shah Rukh Khan is making the "Happy New Year" ("HNY") trailer launch a mega event. SRK has already created a buzz on the social media by announcing that he will release the trailer on the popular messaging app, WhatsApp.
Now the actor has announced that he will personally send the trailer to his fans on 14 August. Not only SRK, but other actors of the film, including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah will also send the trailer to their fans personally. Director Farah Khan will also send the trailer to her fans on Twitter.
"Dil Churane Aa rahe hain #Indiawaale... Tweet with @HNY & #HNYTrailer and I will personally send you the trailer of #HappyNewYearm," Shah Rukh tweeted.
"Send me a tweet with @HNY and I will send you the trailer of #HappyNewYear on the 14th of August #HNY," Bachchan tweeted.
"Send me a Tweet with @HNY & #HNYTrailer and I will personally send you the trailer of #HappyNewYear," Farah tweeted.
Shah Rukh has certainly made this trailer launch as one of the grand events ever in Bollywood. SRK, known for his unique marketing strategy, is leaving no stone unturned to make "HNY" one of the biggest hit films of this year.
SRK has now turned into a wedding planner for the launch of "HNY" trailer in Mumbai on Thursday. The "Chennai Express" actor came late for the app launch event of actor-director Saahil Prem's "Mad About Dance".
When asked the reason for coming late, SRK told The Times of India, "Technical aspects are being looked into. I have to make sure that the sound projection is fine. I also have to see that the food arrangements that evening are perfect. Currently, I'm like a wedding planner. I want everyone who comes there to have a good time."
Meanwhile, the actors have changed their Twitter handle name to their character name in "HNY" on Wednesday.
Shah Rukh has changed his name to Charlie, Bachchan to Nandu Bhide, Sood to Jag, Irani to Tammy and Vivaan to Rohan.
"Apun ne apna nam change kar dala! #NanduBhide #HNY #HappyNewYear," Bachchan posted after changing the name.
