'Shaandaar': Shahid Kapoor-Alia Bhatt Starrer Set to Release this Dussehra

Karan Johar has announced the release date of Vikas Bahl's "Shaandaar", which features Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead for the first time. The romantic-comedy is set to hit screens on 22 October, 2015.

Fans are eagerly waiting for this flick to release, as it has a fresh pair. Additionally, movie-goers cannot wait to see what Vikas Bahl has in store after breaking records with "Queen."

"Shaandaar" is produced by KJo, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane and also features Pankaj Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor in pivotal roles. It is also said that the "Bombay Velvet" villain will be seen in a cameo role in the film.

"Shaandaar" is one of the most awaited movies of Shahid, who is getting hitched to Mira Rajput this July. 

However, the couple will reportedly not be going for their honeymoon due to Shahid's packed schedule. He will soon be seen as the judge of "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 8" along with Karan Johar, Ganesh Hegde and Lauren Gottlieb.

The "Haider" actor will also be seen in "Udta Punjab" opposite Alia. The film also features his ex-girlfriend Kareena Kapoor Khan.
