After Saheba Subramanyam, the Telugu version of Nivin Pauly's blockbuster movie Thattathin Marayathu, music composer Shaan Rahman is all set to make a mark in Tollywood with an upcoming project.
Shaan, who has become one of the sought after musicians in Mollywood, has opened up on his Telugu movie with a recent Facebook post. Even though he hasn't revealed the name of the project, it is the directorial venture of Sath YA with newcomers in the lead roles. Shaan composes four songs for the movie, out of which he has already completed the composition of two songs.
"Dear friends, wanted to give you guys a small update on my Telugu film cuz a few have been asking about it. It's directed by Sath YA and has New Comers in the lead. Composed two songs for it and two more to go. :) Will keep you posted . . .Love, Shaan :)[sic]," Shaan posted on his Facebook page.
Shaan, who made his entry to the entertainment industry with the album Coffee at MG Road along with Vineeth Sreenivasan, debuted as a music composer in Mammootty's Ee Pattanathil Bhootham in 2009. Later, he rose to fame for the music in Vineeth's debut directorial venture Malarvaadi Arts Club.
Some of the other notable movies Shaan has worked in include Thattathin Marayathu, Om Shanti Oshana, Ormayundo Ee Mukham, Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu, Oru Vadakkan Selfie, Adi Kapyare Kootamani, Vettah, Jacobinte Swargarajyam and Ann Maria Kalippilaanu. He will be composing the music for Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy's upcoming movie My Story, directed by Roshni Dinaker.
