FX will premiere Season 2 finale of "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" on Thursday, Sept. 1, and yet again, fans will see Assassins on the brink of a break-up. Despite the innovative storyline and brilliant acting, it is not the most popular show on FX, but it does enjoy a consistent and stable fan base. Top that with the regular good reviews and it is certain that "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" will get Season 3.
Currently the show averages above the 0.5 million viewers mark and has a 0.2 demo rating, which is higher than what it enjoyed during Season 1. Although FX is yet to officially renew it, the possibility of renewal of "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" with Season 3 is quite high. However, if the show were to return for another season, we can expect it to happen on Thursday, June 29, 2017, or a week later, on July 6.
The finale episode of Season 2 will be monumental for Assassins as it will see individual members of the band going their separate ways yet again. The official synopsis for the episode reads, "Johnny attempts a new solo project; Gigi decides to take the band into a different direction."

Gigi (Elizabeth Gillies) and Johnny (Denis Leary) are still pretty sore about the fact that their respective boyfriend Flash (John Corbett) and girlfriend Ava (Elaine Hendrix) are dating each other now. Despite their attempts to get back at them and even move on, it hasn't been easy on the father-daughter duo. Meanwhile, things did not get any simpler with the events of last week.
