Serena Williams and Drake relationship rumours have been running wild for the last couple of months. The couple has managed to be secretive about their status, but has been spotted on various occasions enjoying PDA moments. And now, reports suggest that wedding bells may soon be ringing for the rapper and the tennis pro as they plan their engagement.
The buzz doing the rounds on the Internet suggests that Drake has apparently popped the big question to Serena Williams while on a romantic break to Toronto. "She said yes, but they want to keep it on the down-low for now. Right now, they're happy with just being happy," a source told OK!
The couple has been reported to have rekindled their relationship after splitting in 2011. The duo was spotted getting close and kissing at a Cincinnati restaurant in August.
While explaining about how Drake proposed Serena, the report said that the rapper took the tennis player on a romantic break to his hometown Toronto which is where he went down on his knees and proposed.
The report further stated that Serena and Drake want to keep it under wraps and low-key, but the Wimbledon champ is really excited to share the news with her friends. "She can rest easy knowing her friends will certainly be happy for her when the news spills. All of Serena's friends approve of the pair, adding that Drake is a true gentleman," source said.
And apparently "history won't repeat itself" said the report which also claimed that Drake is very serious about Serena this time around. "Now that he has her, he isn't letting her go," the source added.
As of now, neither Drake nor Serena have confirmed either their relationship or the engagement rumours, but apparently the rapper's rep has denied the engagement speculations. The rep said that no such proposal took place and that the rumour is completely untrue, reported the Daily Mail.
Well, it looks like Serena Williams and Drake fans will have to wait a bit longer to know the truth.
