Putting the rumours mills to rest, Tamil actor Senthil has slammed the death hoax messages that were doing the rounds on social media since Friday, May 6. The comedian has confirmed his perfect health condition through a video message posted on Facebook for his fans and well-wishers.
In the 25-second video, which has now gone viral, the actor says: "Please do not believe the rumour that is going viral on Whatsapp. I am perfectly fine." Senthil is also heard extending his support towards the Jayalalithaa-led All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam party.
Senthil is known for playing a comedian in as many as 500 movies in Tamil, including the popular films, "Gentleman," "Karagattakaran," "Jeans," "Boys," "Arunachalam," "Jayam," "Unna Ninaichen Pattu Padichen" and "Veera."
Recently, Tamil actor Anandraj had also fallen prey to a death hoax. Rumours had it that the actor passed away following a heart attack. Anandraj, who was then working with Bobby Simha in the upcoming movie, "Vallavanukku Vallavan," had clarified that he is fit and fine. Similarly, social media users had also 'killed' Bindu Madhavi, Arya, MS Bhaskar and Ajith Kumar by spreading fake news of the celebrities' death.
