Actress Selma Blair was taken to a hospital on Monday following a mid-air outburst while returning from Cancun, Mexico to Los Angeles. She started ranting about her fear of an unidentified person who has reportedly been physically torturing her.
Blair was reportedly sitting in first class enjoying a glass of wine when she started talking about this unidentified person. "He burns my private parts. He won't let me eat or drink," she reportedly stated, according to People. "He beats me. He's going to kill me."
According to reports, two nurses on board the flight checked Blair's bags for pills and the pilot had radioed ahead to inform that a passenger on board had been mixing alcohol and meds. As soon as the plane landed, Blair was taken to a nearby hospital.
A source confirmed to the media outlet that Blair started exhibiting unusual behaviour after she mixed alcohol with prescription medication. It was unclear "what sort of prescription medications" she had consumed.
Blair was travelling with her four-month-old son when she had the outburst. The duo was returning from Mexico where they had gone to celebrate Father's Day with her ex Jason Bleick. They seemed to have had a wonderful time together, and an onlooker told People that Blair looked "happy and healthy the entire trip." "Arthur was so happy to spend the weekend with his family, giving his mom lots of hugs and kisses on their beach getaway," the source added.
Before embarking on their vacation, Blair posted online a picture of her son playing with planes and captioned it, "We're leaving on a jet plane. Dad is already asleep. Not for long. Bwahahaha. #fathersdayweekend."
