Chinese smartphone-maker Vivo on Tuesday launched photography oriented V5 series handset in India.
As the headline says, metal-clad Vivo V5's highlight is its front camera. It is touted to be the world's first smartphone to boast a 20MP snapper on the front side. It houses Sony IMX376 sensor, dedicated front LED flash and offers Ultra HD, Night, Voice Shutter, Touch Capture, Palm, Timer, Gender Detection, Filter and Watermark modes.

It also boasts 'Moonlight Glow' flash feature to enable the phone to take good quality selfies under low light condition.
On the back, metal-clad Vivo V5 comes packed with 13MP shooter with LED flash, PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and full HD video recording ability.
Other stipulated features include 5.5-inch HD screen, water-resistant fingerprint sensor at home button, Android Marshmallow, 64-bit octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt storage and a 3,000mAh battery.
Vivo V5 price and availability:
Vivo V5 will be put up for pre-order from November 16 onwards in select 22 Indian cities and hit stores on November 26 for Rs. 17,980. It will be available in Crown Gold and Grey colour options.
Besides the standard Vivo V5, the company also showcased the top-end model dubbed as Vivo V5 Plus with a dual-front camera. But the launch and price details of the device are kept under wraps.
