Even after their break-up, "Modern Family" star Sarah Hyland and her ex-boy friend Matthew Prokop have something common to share with their Twitter followers. The celebs seem to be looking back on their romance through Selena Gomez's recently released song, "The Heart Wants What It Wants."
"The Heart Wants What It Wants" is a song from Gomez's upcoming album "For You, " which is expected to be released on 24 November.
Though Hyland and Prokop shared the same album with their fans, they had a different message to deliver through it.
Prokop, by tweeting the album, expressed his love for Hyland as he wrote, "This crushed me, if I could turn back time I would."
On the other hand, the "Modern Family" star took the opportunity to appreciate Gomez. "I have been waiting to share this with all of you. Brilliant... Important," she tweeted.
Meanwhile, their fans had mixed reactions over the common tweet. Prokop's fans expressed their empathy toward him by tweeting sad smileys.
But some of Hyland's fans took to Twitter to express their anger. The furious tweets ranged from "weird how your ex tweeted about it too," to "The Heart Wants What It Wants ... this crushed me, if I could turn back time' no."
Hyland and Prokop were the young power couple of Hollywood until they called off their five-year-long relationship last August.
