Selena Gomez and her boyfriend DJ Zedd have reportedly split after dating for a while. The breakup would make many think she would rekindle her relationship with her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber because they have history of getting back together when many couples in their situation would not see each other.
Selena Gomez, 22, and Zedd, 25 have split and the "Come & Get It" hitmaker has taken it well, according to a report by Hollywood Life. A source told the website that the singer has been having a good time with her friend and music producer Hit-Boy, 27, in Mexico.
Hit-Boy, who had worked with the likes of Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Chris Brown, is reportedly not vacationing with Selena to help her get over the breakup.
"That's not why [Hit-Boy] is there," a source told Hollywood Life. "He's not involved with her personal life like that and doesn't want to be."
"All [Hit-Boy] knows is that Selena seems happy and enjoying her life at this moment," added the source. "They're also working too and Selena's very focused on her upcoming album."
Selena Gomez seems to be enjoying single life again. She was spotted having good time with her friends in Mexico on Wednesday and Mail Online caught her in a tiny pink bikini by Mint Swim that revealed ample cleavage.
The singer even posted a photo of herself in a bikini on Instagram with the caption: "I love being happy with me yall #theresmoretolove."
Interestingly, Justin Bieber was spotted having fun at the Neon Carnival party in Coachella last weekend with his friend Kendall Jenner, who was rumored to be the reason for his breakup with Selena. E! News reported that the "Baby" singer tried his best to get his 19-year-old friend join the party but couldn't as only people aged 21 and above were allowed.
It may be mentioned that Gomez and Bieber have been in an on-off relationship since breaking up in 2010 and were even spotted spending time together despite calling it quits. So, it wouldn't come as a surprise if they rekindle their relationship now that Gomez is single again.
