"Abelena SLAYING on the 2017 #MetGala carpet," wrote an admirer of It Ain't Me singer on Twitter as a caption to one of their snaps.

Meanwhile, industry insiders stated that The Weeknd and his girlfriend made sure all eyes were on them and the love birds looked inseparable as they confidently posed for photos. The source also claimed that The Heart Wants What It Wants singer whispered to her boyfriend's ears "I love you".
However, the celebrity couple apparently experienced an awkward moment while training behind the family members of the Canadian singer's former girlfriend Bella Hadid. The two of them walked the red carpet shortly after Yolanda Hadid and her son Anwar Hadid reached, according to E!Online.
Gomez and Abel made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala hours after the Canadian singer wrapped up his Legend Of The Fall 2017 World Tour in California. During the live on stage performance, the 24-year-old American singer was seen singing along with her lover and cheering him up.
The celebrity couple, who started dating in January, officially announced their relationship on social media last month by sharing PDA-filled selfies.
