Selena Gomez and Abel Makkonen Tesfaye a.k.a The Weeknd are like any other couple and they have their own worries, doubts and insecurities. The one thing that perhaps makes them different from many other couples is that they care for each other more than themselves.
The Starboy singer has showed himself to be a great boyfriend and the former Disney star seems to be really lucky to have him by her side. According to an industry insider, he does not want her to follow him everywhere, especially to his concerts, and he has a reason for it.
"Having Selena at so many of his shows is awesome, but he would be happy if she didn't go to so many because he doesn't want her to get sick of his music," a source told Hollywood Life.

The person close to The Weeknd also claimed that he wants Gomez to enjoy her life by spending time with her friends and having fun with them.
"Abel loves seeing Selena immediately after a show in the dressing room. It's comforting, but he always suggests that maybe she'd have more fun shopping or hanging out with friends than seeing the same show over and over. He just wants to make sure she's always having a good time — whether it's at his show or doing something else for the night," the insider said.
Gomez and The Weeknd were linked together by the tabloids earlier this year and they made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala 2017. Their PDA-laden appearance at the annual event did not just capture the attention of fans and friends, but also received applause from their family members.
"@selenagomez @theweeknd enjoy the ball....yes, I am happy my daughter is happy. Turning off comments because they are vile and I was so unaware how many people know these people personally. My page is not for hate, name calling and uneducated opinions. XO," Gomez's mother Mandy Teefey wrote on her Instagram page.
Although speculations are rife that the celebrity couple will tie the knot in the near future, the two of them and their loved ones are tight-lipped about it.
