Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber will never be a thing of the past. Be it for media or Jelena fans, everyone's forever waiting for a relationship update of these two singers.
And now, in a recent interview, the "Slow Down" singer has finally and candidly spoken about her relationship with Justin Bieber, saying she has no regrets about falling in love with "Where Are You Now" singer.
During her interview with The Sunday Times, when Selena was asked if her upcoming album "Revival" was inspired by Justin, she said: "It's difficult for people to separate us. The internet wants to freeze this moment in time and constantly repeat it."
Selena also revealed that her high-profile relationship with Biebs came at a price as it was always under media scrutiny. And she went ahead to confess that she has no regrets.
"I didn't think I was doing anything bad by falling in love. There's such an emphasis on people being the perfect thing and then destroying them because it's good press. Also throw in the fact that you are a teenager — it makes it more difficult," she admitted.
Though the couple parted ways in 2014, they still seem to hold a special place in each other's heart. Selena said that she has nothing bitter against Justin and that every relationship is a learning experience. And the "Come and get it" singer hopes that her next relationship will be even more special.
"The next relationship will be something dear to me. There is no way I will ever hide my life. I've been working my butt off. I don't really want anything right now," Selena said.
Well, it looks like Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber continue to keep Jelenas waiting for something positive to happen.
