Director Gunasekhar’s dream project Rudramadevi, which has Anusha in the lead has finally completed shooting after two years of being on floor. Director Gunasekhar said that he was delighted that they've completed the project on time. He also added that they plan to release it in december. It is currently under post production stage which includes some 3d works. The periodic drama is the story of a fierce woman ruler of Kakatiya dynasty. Anushka is playing the titular role of 13 century Kakatiya queen Rudramadevi. She learnt sword fighting and horse riding for the role. The film features an ensemble cast of Allu Arjun, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Baba Sehgal, Krishnam Raju, Catherine Tresa and Aditi Chengappa in important roles. Sep 9, 2014

A recent online video showing Allu Arjun arguing with the police for being check on a drunk driving case has gone viral. The actor on the other hand condemns the media for negative publicity. He used his facebook account to clear the air this morning. Most ironically or not, the actor had just acted in a short film called "I am that change". The movie was about being responsible citizens for the country! He added, "Even if I have a few drinks I always walk back or ask someone to drop me off or take a taxi or an auto. Allu Arjun completed his part in Rudhramadevi

Allu Arjun will next be seen in an historic film Rudhramadevi. He will be playing the character of Gona Gannareddy. The film is directed by Gunasekhar. According to our sources, the actor has completed the shooting schedule of his character. He had given bulk dates for this special character from July first week. “There were a few high action scenes where Allu Arjun and many other artistes participated. His role is crucial for the film and he has finished shooting his part,” says the unit source. Catherine Tresa will play cast against Arjun in the film. Anushka is playing the character of Rudhramadevi with Rana cast opposite her. Now, the actor will move on to his next film Trivikiram Srinivas.
