New Delhi, Aug 19 (ANI): Unemployed foreign educated Indian doctors took to streets in New Delhi on Tuesday to demand employment and scrapping of a screening test. The protesters gathered in large numbers and shouted slogans demanding justice. They alleged that the screening test they need to take in order to get a job is too difficult to pass. The protesters said that on one hand when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is calling students who have completed their studies abroad to India, the youth is sitting without jobs for past several years. People making various idols of the Hindu god in Pune city said the price hike was due to inflation as labour charges had increased. Chennai, Aug 17 (ANI): Workers of Tamil Nadu regional party, Naam Tamilar Katchi (NTK) on Sunday staged a protest over derogatory article published on Sri Lanka’s defence ministry website about state Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. An article titled: ‘how meaningful are Jayalalithaa's love letters to Narendra Modi’ had appeared on Sri Lankan defence ministry website with pictures of Jayalalithaa dreaming about Indian PM Modi. However, the article was later removed from the website and Sri Lanka also tendered an apology. Bokaro, Aug 17 (ANI): Displaced youth in Bokaro city of Jharkhand stood in water on Sunday to protest against government as they demanded employment. The protest has been on for over 40 hours, and the protesters are urging the government to employ them with the Bokaro steel plant. Protesters refused to accept the request of state government authorities of ending the protest and made it clear that if their demands are not met, they will breathe their last in water.
