New Delhi, Aug 23 (ANI): Talking about the continuous ceasefire violation by Pakistan, Security Expert Alok Bansal said that the violations show desperation of the Pakistan Army. He said that the larger agenda of these attacks might be to divert attention of the people from the internal situation in Pakistan to the LoC. Further, asked about a 50 meters long tunnel from Pakistan to Indian border, Bansal said that this is one more attempt by the Pakistani troops to infiltrate into Indian Territory, which won’t be easy. Major ceasefire violation by Pakistani troops kills two civilians

Jammu, Aug 23 (ANI): At least two civilians have been killed and many others injured in one of most intense firing along the International Border so far. Continuing to violate the ceasefire agreement, the Pakistani troops targeted 22 Border Security Force posts and several villages in the Arnia and RS Pura sectors using long range mortar shells and heavy to medium machine guns. One jawan has also been injured in the most intense firing on the border so far, that is reportedly still on. All the injured people have been shifted to the Jammu Medical College for treatment. Balakot, Aug 22 (ANI): Indian soldiers posted in forward areas of India Pakistan border, in state of Kashmir say they are ready to foil any attempts by Pakistan to pump in infiltrators across the border. Kashmir has witnessed almost uninterrupted ceasefire violation by Pakistan since August 15. Heavy firing by Pakistan Rangers had commenced last night in the area of Abdulian and Korotana from 2 AM and continued till 6 AM in the morning. Commanding officer of Indian Army’s Bihar Regiment, S Chatterji said, his unit has witnessed 12 instances of ceasefire violation by Pakistan in last month alone. But Chatterji is positive that the Indian Army, along with the paramilitary force BSF (Border Security Force), will hold their ground and stop any attempt to infiltrate by Pakistanis. Chatterji assured that in spite of difficult terrain, the border fence is guarded 24 x7and any bid to infiltrate will be foiled. Nine people killed in Assam-Nagaland border violence

Guwahati, Aug 21 (ANI): Police said on Thursday (August 21) that nine people have been killed due to violence in border areas of Assam and Nagaland. Director General of Police of Assam's capital, Guwahati, said that several reasons were responsible for ignition of the issue, including armed tribals. Meanwhile, Mos for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju, met chief ministers of Assam, Tarun Gogoi, and Nagaland, TR Zeliand, on Thursday to find solution to the flaring chaos. The situation turned tense after 22 people were injured in clashes between the police and protesters in Gologhat district of Assam on Wednesday (August 20).
