IPL Spot-fixing case: Gavaskar to replace Srinivasan as BCCI interim President

New Delhi, March 28 (ANI): Supreme Court on Friday pronounced that Sunil Gavaskar will replace N Srinivasan to take up the post of interim president of the BCCI. The Supreme Court gave three interim orders to the BCCI, that is, Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings will not take part in IPL 7 tournament, Gavaskar replacing Srinivasan, and all India Cements employess be removed from BCCI. New Delhi, March 27 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Thursday proposed the name of Sunil Gavaskar as interim BCCI President replacing N Srinivasan till it gives the final verdict in the IPL Spot-fixing case. The SC also said that Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals will not be part of the upcoming IPL 7 and that any person involved with India Cements should alos be refrained from functioning in the BCCI. IPL Spot-fixing: SC asks Srinivasan to step down for fair probe

New Delhi, March 25 (ANI): In a major blow to the BCCI, the Supreme Court on Tuesday said that its view board President N Srinivasan should step down so as the fair probe to take place. The apex court made the observations while taking up the Justice Mukul Mudgal-led committee report on corruption charges against Chennai Super Kings, Gurunath Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals team owners.
