New Delhi, Oct 11 (ANI): Communications and IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and anti-graft activist Kiran Bedi led the chorus of those congratulating child rights advocate Kailash Satyarthi, who won the Nobel Peace Prize along with Pakistani teenaged activist Malala Yousafzai. Satyarthi, 60, founded Bachpan Bachao Andolan in 1980 and has acted to protect the rights of 80,000 children. Moments after being announced the winner of the coveted prize, Satyarthi dedicated the honour to all those children who are still suffering in slavery, bonded labor and trafficking and thanked those who had been supporting him for more than three decades. Satyarthi, 60, was picked for his struggle against the oppression of children and young people, and for the right of all children to education. In a recent editorial, Satyarthi said that data from non-government organizations indicated that child labourers could number 60 million in India or 6 percent of the total population. Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012 for advocating girls' right to education, and Indian children's right activist Kailash Satyarthi won the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday. New Delhi, Oct 08 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party organised a gathering of electric rickshaw drivers in New Delhi on Wednesday to demand faster resolution to the ban on the vehicle in the city. AAP also demanded to waive off the exorbitant fee required for getting an official approval. AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal, said that the government should place the onus of registering various e-rickshaw models on the e-rickshaw manufacturers and not on the poor drivers. The Delhi High Court on September 09 had banned the plying of e-rickshaws on the roads of the national capital and said it will go on till the rules and regulations for them are outlined by the Road Transport Ministry. Three-day long Global Investors Summit kick starts in Indore

Addressing the gathering, Chouhan said through the summit he wants Madhya Pradesh to make an international mark.Day one was dedicated to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in the state. Ahmedabad, Oct 08 (ANI): As a part of recently launched 'Clean India Mission', railway authorities in Gujarat introduced hi-tech plastic bottle crushers where the plastic can be recycled and used again. In a bid to keep railway stations clean and recycle used plastic bottles, railway authorities in Ahmedabad installed the bottle crusher machine at a station. A ward assistant of Western Railways, Atul Tripathi, said this was the first time in India that such an initiative was undertaken. If proven a success, it would be further taken to other cities.
