Politicos hail SCs verdict on coal blocks

New Delhi, Sept 24 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday cancelled all the coal block allocations which it had earlier declared illegal leaving 4 which entirely belong to the Central government. The court, which examined the allocation of 218 blocks in pre-auction era till 2010, had held that they were done in an illegal manner by an “ad-hoc and casual” approach “without application of mind”. Subramanian Swamy suggests president rule for JandK, Politicos react

New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): BJP leader Subramanian Swamy commenting on the separatist pelting stones at rescue officers said that the best option for Jammu and Kashmir would be to go under presidential rule for at least a year and then have fresh elections. Slamming Swamy for his comment, NPP Chief Bhim Singh said that there is no provision for presidential rule in state and that his statement stinks of old BJP power games. Political leaders condemn Rajnath Singh's 'Pakistan remark'

New Delhi, Sep 12 (ANI): Political leaders condemned Home Minister Rajnath Singh's remark after he threw indications that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government is willing to engage in a meaningful dialogue with Pakistan if it responds positively. Politicos react to reports of CBI director associated with various scam accused

New Delhi, Sep 03 (ANI): Political leaders on Wednesday reacted to reports of CBI Director Ranjit Sinha being associated with people accused in various scams including 2G, Coalgate and Meat export. NCP leader Majid Memon said that law will take its course in deciding the charges against Sinha. SP leader Gaurav Bhatia said that Sinha had been related to various accused earlier too. JD (U) Chief Sharad Yadav said that his party also received information regarding Sinha’s contacts with crime accused people.
