Jammu, Oct 12 (ANI): The DIG of BSF, BS Kasana, said on Sunday that the Indian troops are always alert on firing from Pakistani side. Kasana then informed about the Pakistani resident who had accidently crossed the border and came to the Indian side. TMC blames government for blast in West Bengal

Kolkata, Oct 12 (ANI): Trinamool Congress (TMC) party blamed the Central government for the blast in West Bengal, saying the intrusion of members of extremist groups into the state led to the incident. Two suspected militants were killed and one sustained injuries in an explosion at a TMC leader's house in Burdwan district on October 2. TMC leader Partha Chatterjee said that the Central government is not serious and competent enough to depute border guards and that is why illegal migrants are intruding into West Bengal. He also said the wing of ruling BJP and Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) are disrupting the peaceful situation in the state to reap political benefits. BSF detains nine Bangladeshis at international border

South Dinajpur, Oct 11 (ANI): India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) detained nine Bangladeshi nationals on Saturday near the Indo-Bangladesh international border in a bid to check infiltration. BSF has tightened security in areas bordering Bangladesh in wake of bomb blast in Burdwan district in West Bengal. Two women have been arrested in connection with the explosion that left two suspected militants dead on Sunday. Police is probing the possible involvement of militant outfits like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Harkat-ul Jihad al-Islami in the blast. BSF Commandant Sangram Bisal said that due to close vigilance after the blast in Burdwan they arrested the Bangladeshi nationals who were crossing the hills. Oct 11, 2014
