Mumbai, Feb 12 (ANI): Bollywood starlet Alia Bhatt along with lead actor Randeep Hooda promoted their forthcoming romantic drama 'Highway' in entertainment capital Mumbai. Bhatt, while interacting with the mediapersons said that her role was both challenging and worthwhile. She added that the character was very different from what she portrayed in her previous film ‘Student Of The Year’. Set against the backdrop of the new culture of strikes (shutdown) that frequently immobilise life, ‘Highway’ explores five different relationship stories that get intertwined during an ill-fated journey through the northeastern region. While the passengers - each of whom urgently needs to be somewhere else - await a resolution to the combustible strike that blocks the only passable road.

BJP slams Congress over number of scams during its rule

New Delhi, Feb 06 (ANI): BJP Spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad lashed out at the ruling Congress party over the number of scams that took place during its rule in the last 10 years. Prasad blamed the central government for rushing up the matters like passing bills for the sake of votes. Prasad also added that the infamous AgustaWestland deal could have got through wherein the middlemen were trying to reach out to the people close to the Congress party chief Sonia Gandhi but were unsuccessful in doing so. Youth slaps Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda

Panipat, Feb 02 (ANI): A youth slapped Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who was riding an open jeep during a Congress road show, in full public view in Panipat on Sunday evening and was taken into custody immediately. The chief minister had gone to Panipat, to inaugurate and lay foundation stone of various projects. As Hooda's Maruti Gypsy was making its way through the crowded places, a youth identified as Kamal Mukhija broke the security ring and slapped the chief minister.
