New Delhi, Nov 23 (ANI): All party meet to discuss agenda for Parliament's Winter Session which will begin from Monday ended and different political parties put forward varied issues to be taken during the session. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that BJP and Shiv Sena has same views and outlook on the Kashmir issue. JD (U) General Secretary KC Tyagi also discussed various issues which the party is looking forward to discuss at the winter session. Congress’ Mallikarjun Kharge said that party wants that bills that are still pending need to be kept on the table again including women reservation bill. Meanwhile, Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that government is more than willing to work on the suggestions of the opposition parties. Showing confidence on smooth functioning of the Parliament session, Naidu said that all parties should cooperate including Mamata Banerjee’s TMC. He also said that TMC govt should also understand that central government has no role in the functioning of CBI in Burdwan blast case or any case whatsoever. Nov 23, 2014

Marathon, cyclothon in Vishakhapatnam to cheer up cyclone-affected residents

Vishakhapatnam, Nov 17 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh government on Monday lined up a string of events to boost the morale and cheer up cyclone Hudhud-affected victims in port city of Visakhapatnam. The authorities organised marathon and cyclothon with an aim to revive the brand image of Visakhapatnam as a tourist and investment destination. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is scheduled to take a whirlwind tour of the city later in the day to participate in several tourism and developmental activities. Events like marathon, cyclothon, tree plantation, yoga performance, sand art, crafts fair, art camp, ramp walk, etc were organised at R K beach. Naqvi and Rudy took charge as Ministers of State for Parliamentary Affairs in the presence of Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu. Mumbai, Oct 31 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Devendra Fadnavis was sworn in as the 23rd Chief Minister of Maharashtra on Friday (October 31). The oath taking ceremony was held in the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. It was the first time that a Chief Minister's oath taking ceremony was being held in a stadium. BJP core committee members Eknath Khadse, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Vinod Tawde, Pankaja Munde, former Mumbai BJP president Prakash Mehta, Palghar district tribal leader Vishnu Sawra, and Chandrakant Patil also took oath as cabinet ministers. Dilip Kamble and Vidya Thakur were sworn in as ministers of state. BJP hails Modi's 'Run For Unity' campaign on Sardar Patel's birthday

New Delhi, Oct 31 (ANI): The BJP on Friday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the initiative to celebrate Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary by organizing the 'Run For Unity' campaign. Prime Minister Modi on Friday flagged off the campaign at Rajpath. Modi earlier arrived at Patel Chowk in the heart of Delhi, where he paid floral tributes to Patel on his 139th birth anniversary. Modi then administered Unity pledge to thousands of participants present at Rajpath addressing the participants of 'Run for Unity'.
