Three Bangladeshis lynched to death in Tripura

Tripura, Oct 29 (ANI): Three Bangladeshis, suspected cattle lifters, were lynched to death in a village of Khowai district in Tripura. The incident is the second such in the district this year. Of the three victims, one opened fire and initially managed to escape but later all three were badly beaten by the villagers. Two of them were rescued by the police and taken to hospital where they succumbed to injuries. The third one, who was rescued later, also breathed his last in the hospital. The police have also recovered two 12 bore pipe gun cartridges from the area. The intruders are residents of Habiganj district of Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Border Security Force Deputy Inspector General BS Rawat said the bodies will be handed over to their counterparts in Bangladesh. Oct 29, 2014
