Dalai Lama denied visa to South Africa, Tibetan leaders-in-exile condemn incident

Dharamshala, Sep 06 (ANI): Tibetans-in-exile living in Dharamsala town of Himachal Pradesh react to South Africa's decision to deny a visa to their spiritual leader the Dalai Lama, for the third time in five years. The Dalai Lama, who lives in exile in India and is at loggerheads with China over Tibet, had been hoping to join a Nobel peace conference in Cape Town next month. Lama had reportedly withdrew his application after being told it would be unsuccessful. Penpa Tsering, speaker of Tibetan parliament in-exile said that it was unfortunate that the South African government denied visa to Dalai Lama who is an international messenger of peace.
