The lawyer in the case, Pinky Anand said that many guidelines were submitted by them and also the court and the final take on the same will be decided after the next hearing. US President Barack Obama authorizes airstrikes in Northern Iraq

New Delhi, Aug 08 (ANI): United States President Barack Obama has sanctioned airstrikes in Northern Iraq against the Islamic State fighters to avoid a possible 'genocide'. Obama on Thursday announced that he had authorized the US military to launch air strikes against ISIS militants in Iraq if they threatened the Kurdish capital of Erbil or the thousands of Yazidi minority civilians trapped on Mount Sinjar, both in northern Iraq. Although, Obama said that the US, after withdrawing its forces from Iraq at the end of 2011, did not intend to get involved into a war again, but the recent developments came in the wake of Iraqi government’s request for help. Obama authorized airstrikes amid fears of a humanitarian disaster that has forced thousands of Iraqi minority to flee from their homes to Sinjar mountain where they are reportedly stranded. Mumbai, August 7 (ANI): Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji visited a school in India's showbiz capital Mumbai to promote her upcoming film 'Mardaani'. 'Mardaani', which means manly, revolves around a senior police inspector, played by Mukerji, who unearths human trafficking racket. Interacting with the audience and the media present at the Priyadarshini Vidya Mandir School, Mukerji stressed upon the need to make women strong not only physically but also mentally and said women should not depend on men for safety and security. Mukerji, who plays the protagonist called Shivani Shivaji Rao, as a police officer takes stringent action against the atrocity of human trafficking happening in the country. Reportedly, some real incidents have been portrayed in this film. She visited the School to lend her support to 'Support My School Campaign' by a beverage brand as a part of the promotion of her movie. Rani also presented Medal of Bravery to five girls of the school who have shown courage and achieved success by overcoming odds.
