Mumbai, Aug 14 (ANI): Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and actress Alia Bhatt attended a short film festival 'Shuruaat ka Interval' in entertainment capital Mumbai. An anthology of short films called 'Shuruaat ka Interval' features eight shorts from various filmmakers who have been chosen and mentored by filmmakers Imtiaz Ali, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Anand Gandhi. During the inauguration event, Kapoor said the Indian film fraternity should encourage such short films as it gives fresh talent a chance to grow big. While Priyanka said that she identified with the role because both she and Kom have certain similarities in their lives. Petrol prices to be reduced by Rs.2.18 per litre from Friday

New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): The Indian Oil Corporation will reduce petrol prices by Rs.2.18 per litre in Delhi from Friday post-midnight. The price of petrol in the capital will be Rs.70.33 per litre. The cut in the retail price of petrol is about three percent. The Company also said that the cut is being undertaken owing to a reduction in international crude oil prices. Three state-run fuel retailers - IOC, BPCL and HPCL - tend to move their prices together. Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted, _Price of Petrol will be reduced from midnight of 14/15 August 2014 in the range of Rs.1.89-2.38 (Rs 2.18/litre at Delhi)._ The price of petrol was last reduced by Rs.1.09 per litre on July 31, while the price of diesel was hiked by 50 paise per litre. AAP begins door-to-door campaign to demand fresh elections in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 13 (ANI): Members of Aam Aadmi party launched a door-to-door signature campaign on Wednesday asking people to sign a petition and join hands with the party in demand of re-elections in Delhi. Delhi has been under President_s rule since February when Chief of AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, resigned from the post of chief minister after his 49-day-old government failed to table its Lokpal Bill in the assembly. The assembly has been under suspended animation ever since and no party has staked a claim to form the government. The campaign was initiated from the Patparganj assembly constituency in Delhi by AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Ashutosh in national capital, New Delhi.
