Vietnam's Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung arrives in India for two-day visit

Gaya, Oct 27 (ANI): Vietnam's Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung, arrived in India on Monday to enhance ties and regional cooperation and began his two-day visit by landing in Bihar. Dung, who was accompanied by a 50-member delegation, was received by Bihar Chief Minister, Jitan Ram Manjhi, in Gaya city. During his visit in the state, Dung will pay homage at Mahabodhi temple in holy town of Bodh Gaya, where Lord Buddha is believed to have attained enlightenment. He would also visit the Vietnam Buddhism Pagoda in the town. Both the countries could sign at least a dozen pacts to boost cooperation in sectors like energy, infrastructure, trade and tourism. Dung will hold talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi, President Pranab Mukherjee, Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj and other leaders. New Delhi, Oct 27 (ANI): The Navy Chief of Sri Lanka Vice Admiral Jayantha Perera on Monday received the Guard of Honour at South Block in New Delhi. Perera also met Indian Navy Chief Admiral RK Dhowan. On being asked about Chinese submarines docked in Sri Lanka, Perera said that all investors are purely on commercial basis and there is no chance of staking security of any other country, especially India. Admiral RK Dhowan said Perera visit will strengthen the bridges of friendship between SL and India. New Delhi, Oct 26 (ANI): Members of Aam Aadmi Sena protested outside the residence of Arun Jaitley on Sunday urging him to disclose the names of foreign bank account holders. Aam Aadmi Sena leader Shamsher Singh said that the money belongs the people and hence the government must reveal the name of the account holders. The BJP had set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to unearth "black money", after its first cabinet meeting. However, the government later claimed that not all information on the matter should be disclosed under double taxation avoidance agreement or DTAT.
