Rohit Shetty attends the first look launch of Jigariyaa

Mumbai, August 27 (ANI): Bollywood director, Rohit Shetty launched the trailer and poster of upcoming romantic drama, Jigariyaa in the entertainment capital of Mumbai. The cast and the crew were present during the launch of Raj Purohit's debut movie. Bollywood director Rohit Shetty who was the guest of honour said that the movie and the cast should be supported. Jigariyaa is inspired from true events that tell the love story of Shyamlal Gupta and Radhika Sharma. Raj Purohit, Director of the movie said that the movie was based on a real love story. The romantic drama was written by Vinod Bachchan and launched by Wave Cinemas. It features newcomers, Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia in lead roles and the film is scheduled to on October 10. Arun Jaitley stresses on capital increase from ADB

New Delhi, Aug 27 (ANI): Finance Minister Arun Jaitley met Asian Development Bank (ADB) President Takehiko Nakao in New Delhi and discussed the need for capital increase in the bank to maintain a lead role in development financing in Asia. Nakao is on a three-day visit to India and is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday to discuss the government's development agenda and how ADB can support the government's vision. This is his third visit to India in his capacity as ADB's President. New Delhi/Imphal, Aug 27 (ANI): Medal winners of the recently concluded Glasgow Commonwealth games were recently felicitated by Ministry of Sports at a function at Vigyan Bhawan in Capital New Delhi. Union Sports Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar handed over the memento and prize money to the award winning players. India finished at the 5th position by winning 64 medals. The Manipur government also felicitated the commonwealth games participants from the state in a function at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex in Imphal. While weightlifting gold medalist Sanjita Khumukcham received Rs.15 Lakh, bronze medal winner in Judo Kalpana Thoudam received Rs.8 lakh. 6 silver medalists- Mirabai Saikhom Chanu in weight lifting, Sushila Likmabam in Judo, Sarita Laishram and Devendro Laishram in boxing and Kangujam Chinglensana and Kotharjit Kadangbam in hockey received Rs 10 lakh each.
