New Delhi/Bangalore, Aug 04 (ANI): Appropriate action will be taken against the two Indian officials if reports of their misbehaviour on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow are proved, Union Minister for Sports, Sarbananda Sonowal, said. Two top officials of Indian Olympic Association (IOA), general secretary, Rajiv Mehta, and wrestling referee, Virender Malik, were arrested in Glasgow on Saturday on separate charges. BJP blames Congress for civil services issue

Man electrocuted while withdrawing money from ATM

New Delhi, Aug 2 (ANI): A man was electrocuted on Saturday while he was withdrawing money from a Union Bank ATM. The incident took place in Holambi Kala village on the outskirts of Delhi. NSUI members protest over CSAT exam outside Rajnath Singhs residence

New Delhi, Aug 02 (ANI): Members of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI) on Saturday staged protest outside Home Minister Rajnath Singh's residence in the national capital over the Union Public Service Commission CSAT examination row. The protesters shouted slogans against Singh and also demanded his resignation. The agitated protesters were later detained by the police and were ruthlessly taken away in a bus and were also beaten up.
