New Delhi, Sept 16 (ANI): Minister for Development of Northeast Region, General Vijay Kumar Singh, said that development of the northeast region was a concern. Addressing a news conference in New Delhi, General Singh said development takes time and his ministry was reviewing the development projects operational in the region. The ministry is planning to establish national skill development council and calling in experts to provide skill development in northeast. Meanwhile, the minister said the Northeast Councils (NECs) could play a vital role in pushing the developmental model. President receives warm welcome on arrival in Vietnam

Vietnam, Sep 15 (ANI): President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, received a warm welcome on arrival at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, on a four-day visit to strengthen bilateral ties. The visit will mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries. Mukherjee was also given the ceremonial guard of honour. He is scheduled to hold talks with the Vietnam Prime Minister, Nguyen Tan Dung and his counterpart, Truong Tan Sang, on issues of international, regional and bilateral importance. Salman Khan unveils eighth edition of 'Big Boss'

Mumbai, Sept 13 (ANI): Bollywood actor, Salman Khan, on Thursday unveiled eighth edition of reality TV show 'Bigg Boss', in India's showbiz capital, Mumbai. "Bigg Boss" follows the international format and features celebrity contestants closeted in a house near Mumbai for three months with no access to the outside world. The inmates of the house are subjected to a life of constant scrutiny, with dozens of cameras and microphones focusing on them. Each week, one of them is voted out. Salman said that the show gets better with better contestants. However, Salman said he was reluctant to host the show this year as it was too tiring but later on stated that he still chose to be a part of the season eight as he liked the format. Bollywood actress Nilufer Salehi said that the movie is romantic with a twist of comedy. Salehi has worked in a number of films before but for Bollywood actor Aatri Kumar, this film was a debut.
