New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Venkaiah Naidu, on Thursday condemned the cross-statement of Pakistan_s Foreign Ministry claiming to develop friendly relations with India. Responding to PM Narendra Modi_s statement about Pak indulging in proxy wars of terrorism, Pakistan Foreign Ministry had considered the statement as unfortunate after efforts are being made to develop friendly relations between both countries. Politicos on Judicial Appointment Commission Bill

New Delhi, Aug 13 (ANI): The government's move to scrap the previous Bill on judicial appointments and introduce a new one in the Lok Sabha got mixed reactions from various political parties. Union Law minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad, on Monday tabled the Judicial Appointments Commission Bill in the Lok Sabha and it will replace the existing collegium system when it comes into effect. Earlier, Prasad had told the parliament the government was keen to set up a committee to appoint judges in the wake of allegations of judicial corruption. Aug 13, 2014
