BJP releases book on PM Modi's foreign visits

New Delhi, Dec 02 (ANI): BJP on Monday released a booklet on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's foreign visits since he took over the post on May 2014. The booklet comprises of Modi's visits to Japan, United States, Australia, Nepal, among others and his accomplishments in each of the visit. Present at the occasion were PM, Party President Amit Shah, LK Advani, Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj and Venkaiah Naidu along with other party leaders. The party parliamentary meet also decided that Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj will make a statement in Parliament on Modi's foreign visits. Dec 2, 2014

PMO refuses to share Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose files, politicos react

New Delhi, Dec 01 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday reacted over the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government's refusal to make the files on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose public, saying the revelations would "prejudicially affect" relations with foreign countries. The Prime Minister's Office has shared only a list of 41 such files. In the run-up to the general elections, the then BJP president and present Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in January asked the UPA government to reveal the mystery behind Netaji's death. However, in its response to an RTI application by activist Subhash Chandra Agrawal filed about 14 months ago, the PMO has declined to share copies of the files. Dec 1, 2014

BJP refuses to public files pertaining to Netaji Subhas, says will hamper foreign relations

New Delhi, Dec 1 (ANI): The NDA government refused to make public the files pertaining to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose's mysterious disappearance and death saying that the disclosure will hamper the relations with foreign countries. RTI activist Subhas Agarwal commenting on Government's refusal said that the PMO gave information regarding it but refused to give copy of the documents.
