New Delhi, Sept 04 (ANI): The Allahabad High Court on Thursday issued notices to the Central and Uttar Pradesh governments, as well as the Election Commission while hearing a petition on poll campaigning by BJP MP Yogi Adityanath and Union minister Kalraj Mishra. The plea seeks a ban on campaigning by Yogi Adityanath and Kalraj Mishra in the upcoming bypolls in Uttar Pradesh. The duo have been accused of fanning communal tensions and raking up the 'love jihad' issue ahead of the upcoming bypolls.

New Delhi, Aug 28 (ANI): Controversial BJP MP Yogi Adityanath is among three BJP leaders who would be campaigning for the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh. Adityanath, who is currently facing charges of inciting communal tension in Gorakhpur in 2007, was handed over the charge by party chief Amit Shah. The others are UP veteran and union minister Kalraj Mishra and the party's state unit chief Laxmikant Bajpayee. New Delhi, Aug 27 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Leader Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday said that his remark on 'Love Jihad' is not authentic and blamed the media for showing unauthentic news. Adityanath was caught on camera asking his supports to marry girls of other community to set the records straight. He was quoted as saying, "We have decided that if they convert one Hindu girl, we will convert 100 Muslim girls."
