The two-day South Indian International Movie Awards event kicked off on a grand note on Friday at Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. A long list of celebrities attended day 1 of the awards ceremony. The event something really different whenTamil actor Simbhu bagged the award for the Best Male Singer. The award was for his song Diamond Girl from the NTR Jr starrer film Baadshah. The actor singer won the maximum votes against Shankar Mahadevan who was nominated for his song from Attarintiki Daredi. Simbu thanked Juniour NTR and Thaman for making it happen. New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): Since the absence of Leader of Opposition is becoming a hurdle in the appointment of the CVC and CIC, the Government will be very soon taking a conclusive decision on the removal of LoP from the Lok Sabha. Reacting on the Government's proposal, Congress leader Manish Tewari said that instead of removing the post of LoP why doesn't the government tell the speaker that Congress is the biggest opposition party and that it should get the post.
