Jharkhand, Sep 23 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday visited naxal affected areas of Saranda in Jharkhand. Singh distributed sarees among the tribal women and later visited the CRPF camp in the district. Home Minister said that there is no place for violence in a democratic nation like India. India stands united over Kashmir, protest continue against Bilawal Bhuttos Kashmir remark

Bangalore/ Bhopal, Sep 22 (ANI): The statement of Pakistan People's Party Leader Bilawal Bhutto regarding Kashmir was strongly condemned across the country and sparked strong protests on Monday in various states of India. Members of the Indian Youth Congress in Bangalore city of Karnataka shouted anti-Bhutto slogans and burnt the banner bearing his picture. A member of Youth Congress, Pramod Shankar said that Kashmir would always remain an integral part of India. Besides, protests were also held in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh by members of Students’ Union. Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) members also protested against Bhutto. The protesters burnt his effigy and shouted ‘anti-Pakistan’ and ‘anti-Bhutto’ slogans. Bilawal addressed party workers in Multan region of western Punjab in Pakistan on Friday when he made his controversial comment that he would take back Kashmir and would not leave a single inch of which belonged to Pakistan. Health Minister praises Kerala CM for reducing liquor availability

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 19 (ANI): Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan praised Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Friday (September 19) for state government's decision to drastically reduce availability of liquor. Supreme Court of India on September 11 had asked the State government of Kerala to maintain status quo over banning liquor in the state. Vardhan was speaking at a function in Thiruvananthapuram city to declare the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) as the State Cancer Institute. He said saving people from alcohol and tobacco is a priority. CRISIL and Bajaj Finance Limited were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 7.11% and 5.66% along with CONCOR and MUTHOOT FINANCE LTD. with an increase of 5.08% and 4.48% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include SUZLON and JINDAL STEEL and POWER LTD. with a decrease of 9.33% and 4.66% along with SHRIRAM CITY UNION FINANCE LTD. and JAIPRAKASH ASSOCIATES LTD. with a decrease of 4.50% and 4.40% at the close of the markets. Students' union to move court in JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY molestation case in Kolkata

Kolkata, Sept 19 (ANI): Protesting students' union of Jadavpur University in Kolkata city will move court to seek justice for the alleged molestation of a victim in hostel. The protesters shut down the institution and demanded resignation of Vice Chancellor of the university over alleged molestation of other students during their protest. The victim student was molested by few male students who dragged her inside the boys’ hostel on August 28. Students further alleged that police authorities dragged out students and manhandled them. More than 30 students were arrested by the police while some of them were also injured.
