Pak violates ceasefire in R S Pura sector in J-K

Rs Pura Sector, Feb 09 (ANI): In yet another case of ceasefire violation, the Pakistani forces opened fire at ten border outposts in Jammu's RS Pura Sector on late Sunday night. In response to the unprovoked firing from Pakistan at 11:30 pm last night, the BSF troops retaliated to the firing. The latest ceasefire violation took place days after Pakistani forces on Thursday opened fire at a BSF outpost along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir. Further details are awaited. Imphal: Three BSF jawans injured in twin IED blasts

Imphal, Feb 08 (ANI): Three Border Security Force (BSF) jawans including one Sub-Inspector and two constables were injured in twin IED blasts that took place at Napetpali village in Imphal. The injured were rushed to the RIMS Emergency Service for medical aid. After the explosion, the security forces, BSF, Assam Rifles and State Police Commando team investigated the locality and nabbed six suspected youths from the area for further verification. Poonch, Feb 07 (ANI): Indian army has launched recruitment drive in border areas of Jammu and Kashmir, which aims to increase the representation of the state in the army and could reduce unemployment in the region. The candidates were subjected to physical measurement such as height, weight and chest before going through physical tests such as running, jumping and walking on a narrow ramp.
