Dhaka, Nov 5 (ANI): Speakers from different sectors with a common conviction to erase Jamaat-e-Islami party came together at a forum in Bangladesh's capital city Dhaka recently. They demanded punishment for those who have been convicted in the trial of war criminals of 1971 and said the punishment should not be reviewed under any circumstances and also presidential mercy must not be rewarded. Afroz was addressing the 'forum for secular Bangladesh and trial of war criminals of 1971' organised on the occasion of the 42nd year of Bangladesh's Constitution. Meanwhile, journalist and human rights activist Shahriar Kabir, during his address to the gathering at the seminar, emphasized that until and unless Jamaat-e-Islami is rooted out from Bangladesh, the country will never be able to fulfill its dream of the dead soldiers who fought the war of liberation. Manipur police reduce drugs worth crores to ashes

Imphal, Nov 4 (ANI): In what seems to be a unique clean up exercise, state police of Manipur set fire to a bounty worth of large amount of drugs seized from various parts of capital Imphal. Police trucks arrived at an open field in the Lilong Pan Ahanbi area in the state capital and unloaded huge packages containing narcotics that had been seized from various police stations in Imphal between 2012 and 2013. The police officer who headed the disposal, Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Range-IV, Imphal, Kh. Chandramani Singh said that the illegal narcotics were worth more than 4.5 crore. New Delhi, Nov 03 (ANI): AAP leader Manish Sisodia after meeting with Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung said that Delhi will go to polls soon. LG had called for an all party meet with three major political parties- BJP, Congress and AAP- and all had asked him to dissolve the current Assembly and go for fresh polls in the capital city. Sisodia also said that Jung will be submitting the report to Central Government by evening on Monday.
