Reactions come in as Delhi HC slams MCD for running 'Dirty India Campaign'

New Delhi/ Kaushambi, Nov 06 (ANI): Reactions come from political leaders after Delhi High Court slammed Municipal Corporation of Delhi for unhygienic conditions in the national capital and made an observation that it was running a 'Ganda Bharat Abhiyan' or 'Dirty India Campaign'. While BJP said that government is committed to its 'Swachch Bharat Abhiyan’, Congress and AAP alleged that the ruling BJP is only doing a show off and the MCD under them has failed to perform on the ground. CPI leader D Raja also said that now that the HC has slammed the MCD, it needs to give a report on the same. The court has directed the MCD to file a status report in this regard and posted the matter for next hearing on November 12. Nov 6, 2014

Amid a star studded glitzy evening with former cricketers, family members and other dignitaries in the commercial capital Mumbai, he said the game lost its charm when Greg Chappell was the team coach. Tendulkar has penned in his book that just before the 2007 Cricket World Cup, Chappell had approached him to replace former cricketer Rahul Dravid as the team captain. Dhaka, Nov 5 (ANI): Supporters of Bangladesh ruling Awami League party took to street on Wednesday against the strike called by Jamaat-e-Islami. Awami League Party Leader Mofazzal Hossain Maya said that Bengali community has rejected the strike in support of the court’s decision.
