Gandhinagar, Jan 09 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday (January 09) invited Non-Resident Indians (NRI) to heavily invest in India to make it a Super Economic Power. While addressing a gathering of NRI and foreign delegates at Diaspora Conclave, or Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Gandhinagar city of Gujarat, Singh said that development is the main agenda of their government. Congress leader PC Chacko said that forceful conversion is not permitted in the Constitution itself. NCP leader Tariq Anwar slammed Naidu for speaking RSS's ideology. Kufri, Jan 09 (ANI): An early spell of snowfall in Kufri this year has brought cheers to the small business community. Nestled in hills, Kufri in Himachal Pradesh has been attracting a steady stream of visitors after temperatures plummeted to zero levels. One of the preferred tourist destinations for people from plains, Kufri has reported a significant jump in tourist numbers. Locals are happy as all sectors linked to tourism industry are doing well. Tourists, both domestic and foreign, have been thronging Kufri since a thick blanket of snow enveloped the hills. Travel agent, Kuldeep Sharma, said the rush of tourists has boosted the revenues of hotels and small traders. The event marks the centenary of the return to India of Mahatma Gandhi from South Africa. He also said that among other events a stamp and coin will be inaugurated at the function featuring images of Mahatma Gandhi as a bachelor and as Father of the Nation. Akbaruddin also informed that Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj met with her South African counterpart Maite Nkoana-Mashabane today and discussed wide range of issues.
