Poonch, Feb 25 (ANI): Indian army assisted disabled people by distributing wheelchairs and artificial limbs in Jammu and Kashmir. The task was carried out by the Romeo Force Regiment 39 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and charitable organisation, Pritam Spiritual Foundation Trust, to help disabled people in the border belt of Poonch district. In November last year, the army had provided artificial legs to 20 people in a distribution camp at its battalion base. Meanwhile, chairman of the Trust, Jagbir Singh Sudan thanked the army for supporting them in this noble cause. Feb 25, 2015

BSF & BGB play friendly match in Indo-Bangladesh border

South Dinajpur, Feb 24 (ANI): As a part of confidence-building exercise between security forces along the porous Indo-Bangladesh border, a friendly volleyball match was played between the two countries in West Bengal. The match was organised to celebrate the 50th Raising Day of Indian paramilitary, Border Security Force (BSF) with an aim to enhance better border management work between the neighbours. The friendly match was played between 25th BSF battalion and 40th Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) battalion. Enthusiastic residents of border villages flocked to the venue in South Dinajpur district to watch the match. India and Bangladesh have been working together to reduce crimes and illegal activities along the 4,096 km long border. Special emphasis is also being given to develop cross-border trade, especially via the northeastern region that shares a 1,880-km-long border with Bangladesh. Chennai, Feb 23 (ANI): AIADMK Chief J Jayalalithaa's supporter Shihan Hussaini on Monday got himself crucified and demanded to reinstate Jayalalithaa as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Six inch iron nails were hammered into the hands and feet of Hussaini. Hussaini was on cross for six minutes and seven seconds ahead of Jayalalithaa's upcoming 67th birthday, demanding her to be made CM again.
