Navi Mumbai, Aug 16 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Saturday expressed concern about the impending SEZs in the state and asked for more cooperation from the central government. Chavan said that it is because of the policies of the government that many of the SEZs still remain pending. PM Modi dedicates INS Kolkata to the nation

Mumbai, Aug 16 (ANI): The INS Kolkata was commissioned to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday at the Mumbai dockyard in the presence of Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. The INS weighs nearly 6800 tonnes and about 3 years were spent to manufacture it. Modi, while addressing the naval officers, said that he dedicates the INS to the nation. Prithviraj Chavan on Pune landslide

Mumbai, July 30 (ANI): Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Wednesday said that over 150 are feared trapped under debris of more than 44 houses that were buried in a landslide triggered by heavy rains at Malin village in Ambegaon tehsil of Pune district. Talking to mediapersons in Mumbai he said that rescue operations are on in full swing with the help of teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).
