BSE closes points 37.25 up on June 27

New Delhi, June 27 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 37.25 points up to stand at 25,099.92. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 15.60 points up to stand at 7,508.80. Havells India and HDIL were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 6.21% and 6.09% along with Divis Lab and Future Retail with an increase of 5.99% and 5.78% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Indian Hotels and Ashok Leyland with a decrease of 4.83% and 4.62% along with Bharat Electronics Ltd. and National Aluminium Co.Ltd. with a decrease of 3.98% and 3.75% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 82.08 points at 15,198.27 while the banking sector is down 79.98 points at 17,181.74 and the realty sector is up 16.26 points at 2,055.57.The Indian currency is down 0.07% at Rs 60.10 per dollar. SC rejects Subrata Roy's bail plea

New Delhi, June 04 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Wednesday once again rejected a bail plea of Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy. A bench of justices T S Thakur and A K Sikri, who had on May 29, reserved its order after hearing arguments from the counsel of Sahara Group and the SEBI on the fresh plea of Roy, has now referred the sahara case to a 3-judge bench. The court allowed Sahara to sell nine of its real estate assets in India to raise part of the money, but sought more information on the three overseas hotels the group had offered to sell. Slow construction work of water pipelines upset Kashmir people

Srinagar, May 18 (ANI): Residents of Jammu and Kashmir remain unhappy with damaged water pipelines and roads in the capital city of Srinagar. Local residents faced inconvenience due to unfinished water pipeline work, due to which the water supply was affected in hotels and households. Over the past few years, the state government started construction work on roads, bridges, drainages and installation of water pipes in Srinagar. But some are still incomplete due to slow work and harsh weather conditions. Authorities in Roads and Buildings (R and B) department say heavy rains resulted in delay of completing works.
