New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday hoped that the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would be able to live up to the expectations of the people and said the Centre would extend full support to the new government in Delhi. The AAP is inching closer to government formation in Delhi with the party leading in 65 seats. The BJP is ahead in four seats while the Congress is trailing in all the 70 assembly seats. Counting began at 8 a.m. and is taking place at 14 centres in nine districts of the national capital. A voter turnout of 67.08 percent was recorded in the polling for the 70-member Delhi Assembly. Politicos offer their condolences over the demise of legendary cartoonist RK Laxman

New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Politicos on Tuesday mourned the death of eminent cartoonist RK Laxman, whose "You Said It" cartoon featuring the 'Common Man' lampooned India's powerful for half a century. Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that it is a great loss to the country. Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar also expressed his grief over the demise of Laxman. Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore and BJD leader Jay Panda also expressed similar sentiments. According to media reports, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend the last rites of Laxman, who will be accorded the state funeral in Pune.
