A colonel in Ukraines military intelligence service was killed in a car bomb in Kiev on June 27, the countrys Defence Ministry said, describing the incident as a terrorist act.Police said an explosive device in the vehicle blew up at 8.16am local time while the car was moving, killing the driver and wounding a passerby. Video Shows Aftermath Deadly Market Blasts in City of Parachinar

At least 15 people have been killed in twin blasts in the northwestern Pakistani town of Parachinar on Friday (June 23) according to government officials. The two blasts went off within three minutes of each other. People were at the market buying food for iftar, the meal breaking the fast in the evening during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. No group claimed responsibility for the Parachinar blasts.In a separate attack on Friday, at least 13 people, including seven police officers, were killed by a suicide car bomber in Quetta which is about 100 km (60 miles) east of the border with Afghanistan.
