Hyderabad, Jan 30 (ANI): After Andhra Pradesh Assembly rejected the Telangana bill on Thursday, TRS MLA KT Rama Rao said that this will not impact either the President of India or the Union government. He said that irrespective of the ‘divided’ AP assembly’s decision, the bill will go to the centre and will be introduced in the Parliament. Rao also appealed the people of Telangana not to panic. New Delhi, Jan 13 (ANI): The Congress Party has appointed Union Minister for Corporate Affairs Sachin Pilot as the new president of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee. The 36-year-old Minister for Corporate Affairs is a close associate of party Vice President Rahul Gandhi and is the son of late Union Minister Rajesh Pilot and Rama Pilot, who was also MP for a term. Pilot's appointment as PCC chief comes a month after the party's poor performance in the desert state. Telangana row: TRS requests for President's rule

Hyderabad, Oct 10 (ANI): TRS leader KT Rama Rao slammed Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and said that he has been working against the formation of separate Telangana. The TRS has also called for President’s rule in the state. TRS also urged Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan to dismiss Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister from his post. TRS floor leader in the Legislative Assembly E Rajender alleged that Reddy is biased against Telangana and was trying to stall the formation of the separate state.
